Eligibility:
Projects must be located within the Central New York Chapter's territorial boundaries, which include the following counties: Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Tioga, and Tompkins. Projects from neighboring counties may be entered and will be reviewed by the ACI CNY Board on a case-by-case basis.
Projects must have been completed and turned over to the owner between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Restoration projects qualify.
Judging Criteria:
Each entry will be reviewed individually and scored in each of the following categories:
• Aesthetic Concept
• Innovative Use of Materials/ Sustainable Design
• Structural Design
• Quality of the Installation
Where aesthetic concept is not relative to the installation, total points for this category will be factored out.
The current ACI standards will be the basis for judging structural design and quality of the installation, unless special consideration to another industry standard is requested in the entry submittal.
How to Enter:
Entries must be submitted using the entry forms (available at www.acicny.org or below) or they cannot be considered by the judging panel. We prefer that the data be entered in the entry forms electronically.
The form is due by February 28, 2026.
Awards Ceremony will be held to recognize all projects on the evening of Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Syracuse. More information to follow.

2020 Award Winners:
Awards
I would like to thank everyone who attended our awards ceremony last week and give another congratulations to our award winners. It is great to recognize the hard work of those in the concrete and masonry industries. I would also like to thank our judges, whom without their volunteered time, the awards ceremony would not be possible. Please see below for our award winners and their projects. If any additional plaques would like to be ordered, please reach out to the chapter. Congrats again!
Caleb Hayden, P.E., ACI CNY President
