ACI CNY President's Message - January 2022 
President's Message
Hello All,
Happy New Year!
We had a successful 2021 in our operations and finances. We were able to hold some "in person" meetings and certifications as well as virtual presentations for our members. The virtual meetings were full of great content and we had excellent participation!
Financially we are strong as well. Thank you for all of the continued support for the group through sponsorships, memberships, and attendance of events.
A big thank you to all of your volunteer Board Members who make all of this happen. We are always looking for help; so if you are interested in participating on the board please let us know.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
- Wednesday, January 19th is our next webinar, entitled EleMasonry Design Software. Registration is still open for this event, so if you haven't registered yet, please take a minute to do so here: REGISTER HERE
- 2020 and 2021 Awards Program - Forms for submittal of projects are available on our website (Awards Info), so please go there and get started on them. DEADLINE for submittal is January 28, 2022. Projects from 2020 and those substantially completed in 2021 are eligible for submission. There have been some really great projects built in the last 2 years and it's time to recognize and honor them. Submitters are welcome, and encouraged, to submit multiple projects in both Masonry and Concrete for both years.

Nick Carparelli (NYS CMA) will once again be heading up the Masonry Awards, and Shawn Murphy (Murnane) will be honchoing the Concrete Awards. We of course hope to have lots of projects to celebrate, and are always looking for Judges! If interested in being a judge, please reach out to us - we will put you to work!
